On May 7, 2021, Social Worker Inga Johnson, MS went on WYKR 101.3 to chat with Stephen Puffer about Cottage Hospital's Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Swing Program. Inga goes into detail about her 40 year history as a social worker, how Cottage Hospital can provide high-level care to the community close to home, and more! 

Our rehabilitation program is designed for patients recovering from surgery, cardiac conditions, joint replacement or fracture repair, and neurological conditions. In addition, we can assist with wound care, physical strengthening, and post hospitalization recovery.

We partner with each patient to identify specific needs necessary to formulate a successful recovery plan. Whether helping with daily activities like bathing and eating, or educating patients and caregivers about rehabilitation, you can expect an excellent experience and a higher level of care in Cottage Hospital’s Physical Rehabilitation Swing Program.

Our providers consist of nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and case workers that work closely with patients and caregivers to develop individualized treatment plans to:
