The Birthing Center offers a quiet, homey atmosphere for your birth experience. Each private room is equipped for emergencies and the care of your newborn.
The Birthing Center offers the services of family practitioners who are specially trained in obstetrics (including performance of C-sections and postpartum sterilization). All members of our well-trained perinatal nursing staff are known for their high degree of professionalism and their true caring of mothers.
Our health care team is dedicated to making your birthing experience a safe, joyous and memorable occasion for you, your newborn and family. The Birthing Center gives you a choice of birth methods and encourages family members to be involved during the birthing experience.
24-hour Anesthesia coverage provides several pain relief options including epidural anesthesia. The Birthing Center at Cottage also has available a labor tub which provides an alternative to more conventional methods of pain relief.
