Services:

It is our goal to provide the highest quality Cardiopulmonary Care to patients at Cottage Hospital, and to advance the science of Cardiopulmonary Care through collaboration with the medical staff of Cottage Hospital and referral organizations, utilizing education, research, and improvement in clinical practice.

Respiratory Care Practitioners play an increasingly important role as a member of the health care team. The development and implementation of protocols is helping to expand our role throughout Cottage Hospital
The function of the Cardiopulmonary Department is to provide all necessary therapeutic and diagnostic modalities for the management of respiratory and cardiac disorders and complications. Services are provided on an inpatient or outpatient basis.

• Provision of Therapeutic Gases and medications

• Invasive and Non-Invasive Ventilation

• Chest Physiotherapy

• EKG's

• Pulmonary Function Testing

• Emergency Resuscitation

• Holter Monitors

• King of Hearts Event Monitors

• Arterial Blood Gases and Pulse Oximetry Testing

• Stress testing

• Patient education
