Staying overnight in the hospital is never something a person looks forward to, but in Cottage Hospital's Medical/Surgical unit, the staff works extra hard to make your hospital stay as comfortable as possible. This 21-bed unit handles a variety of patients including Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Urology, Oncology, Medical and Surgical.

Since we are a small unit, we can still offer personal care. The nursing staff attempts to meet each patient's psychological, spiritual and cultural needs, while delivering the highest quality of care possible. The staff is always looking for ways to improve services. The recent addition of a handicapped shower is one project that was implemented by the Medical/Surgical nursing staff.
