Services:
Cottage Hospital's state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit takes care of the critically ill. This includes cardiac, respiratory and some surgical patients. Staffed by specially trained critical-care nurses, the staff works closely with the patient's specialist and primary care physician.
The Unit is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and visitors to the Unit may visit patients for 10 minutes each hour, at the discretion of the charge nurse.
