Services:

The Health Information Management department (Medical Records) maintains a complete health record for every patient who visits Cottage Hospital. These health records serve many purposes, the most important of which is to provide a means of communication between health professionals. The department, as caretaker of health information, has acquired an important role in the life of the hospital as health information has become the basis for hospital reimbursement.

Outside agencies impose many regulations on the department, and in order to comply with them, Health Information Management remains committed to the implementation of modern technology for its daily operations and to the high quality of care rendered at Cottage Hospital.
