Mackenzie’s Hope for Kids is a project of the heart initiated by Mackenzie Hope Griswold, a young girl who remembers just how scary a trip to the Emergency Room can be. When Mackenzie needed surgery she received a stuffed monkey as a gift. She named him “Howard,” and he continues to be a very special part of her life.
In an effort to comfort children who visit the emergency room, Mackenzie has donated many new stuffed animals and books as a way for them to cope with their own trip to the emergency room.
If you would like to join Mackenzie in her fundraising or donation efforts to this program, please contact Cottage Hospital’s Community Relations Department at 603.747.9189 or myhospital@cottagehospital.org
